MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!

This pic is taken out my cousins little boy Tyler who is 18 months. He loved opening his gifts and had no trouble with it at all.

Christmas was very busy for us this year first we started our at my parents house and opened gifts then we went to my broth-in-laws house for brunch and then finally ending up at my parents again where we had dinner. It was a pretty exciting day for everyone but mainly is since we finally got to break the news that we are excepting.
This pic is of my niece Faith who is 9 months and my nephew Aiden who is 15 months. Both of them loved looking at the presents, playing with the wrapping paper and bows but wanted nothing to do with unwrapping them by themselves.Maybe NEXT YEAR!!!

Faith and her Aunt Brooke (whom she loves to death)

Faith and Aidean admiring a winnie the pooh toy that amke lots of sounds!!

Tyler and Rylee (who is 7 years old)

She loved this hat and wore it all day long with no problems. The two front teeth crack me up!!!

Aiden playing with one of baby Faiths toys while she was napping!!This kid loves remotes and adult cell phones.

WERE EXPECTING!!!!!

I filled a clear baby bottle with pink and blue confetti paper and tried and pink and blue ribbon around the top. We gave patricks mom one to but didnt get a pic.
This pic was taken christmas morning of my parents right after telling them that their going to be grand-parents next year. PRICELESS!!!!

Patrick and I found out on Dec. 21st that we will be expecting out first child in Aug. 2008. Since Patrick has been gone for most of the time during the week I had to wait until around 9:00 that night. It was hard keeping the secret from anyone that long. Friday I took a HPT and when it read positive I was so excitied because I didnt think that it would happen quit that fast since we have only been trying since Dec 1st. After taking the HPT I called my sister-in-law Stacye asked her to run up to Plan Parenthood to take another test and talk to a doctor. After waiting about 30 mins(which actually felt like an hour)so finally called me in the office and said that it was 100% positive and that I was 4 weeks and 1 day and that I am Due Aug. 29th (I know good luck to me with the HOT oklahoma heat. After leaving the office I went to babies r us and got patrick this ultrasound frame that says" our little blessing". When he arrived at home and I got to share the news he was so excited. The funny thing is that ever since we have been talking about having kids I always said that it would be nice if we could get pregnant around christmas so that we could tell out families on christmas day and well I guess we got our wish. It was so difficult to keep a big secret like that from the ones you love for that long.

Old Friends

Right after we got back from Mexico one of my best friends Kristen came into town for thanksgiving. Kristen and I haven't seen each other for about 4 years so it was so exciting to see each other again. In 2002 she moved to Spokane,WA with her then boyfriend and now husband. He is enlisted in the military and is leaving to go back over seas in a couple of weeks. After the first of the year they will find out where they will be stationed at next but she did promise that it would be closer to home. Kristen and I went tp high school together and ended up staying in touch ever since. It was amazing to have her back home for a while bc we got to caught up on alot of things. Kristen will most likely be visiting again in the summer.
