MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!

This pic is taken out my cousins little boy Tyler who is 18 months. He loved opening his gifts and had no trouble with it at all.

Christmas was very busy for us this year first we started our at my parents house and opened gifts then we went to my broth-in-laws house for brunch and then finally ending up at my parents again where we had dinner. It was a pretty exciting day for everyone but mainly is since we finally got to break the news that we are excepting.
This pic is of my niece Faith who is 9 months and my nephew Aiden who is 15 months. Both of them loved looking at the presents, playing with the wrapping paper and bows but wanted nothing to do with unwrapping them by themselves.Maybe NEXT YEAR!!!

Faith and her Aunt Brooke (whom she loves to death)

Faith and Aidean admiring a winnie the pooh toy that amke lots of sounds!!

Tyler and Rylee (who is 7 years old)

She loved this hat and wore it all day long with no problems. The two front teeth crack me up!!!

WERE EXPECTING!!!!!

I filled a clear baby bottle with pink and blue confetti paper and tried and pink and blue ribbon around the top. We gave patricks mom one to but didnt get a pic.
This pic was taken christmas morning of my parents right after telling them that their going to be grand-parents next year. PRICELESS!!!!

Patrick and I found out on Dec. 21st that we will be expecting out first child in Aug. 2008. Since Patrick has been gone for most of the time during the week I had to wait until around 9:00 that night. It was hard keeping the secret from anyone that long. Friday I took a HPT and when it read positive I was so excitied because I didnt think that it would happen quit that fast since we have only been trying since Dec 1st. After taking the HPT I called my sister-in-law Stacye asked her to run up to Plan Parenthood to take another test and talk to a doctor. After waiting about 30 mins(which actually felt like an hour)so finally called me in the office and said that it was 100% positive and that I was 4 weeks and 1 day and that I am Due Aug. 29th (I know good luck to me with the HOT oklahoma heat. After leaving the office I went to babies r us and got patrick this ultrasound frame that says" our little blessing". When he arrived at home and I got to share the news he was so excited. The funny thing is that ever since we have been talking about having kids I always said that it would be nice if we could get pregnant around christmas so that we could tell out families on christmas day and well I guess we got our wish. It was so difficult to keep a big secret like that from the ones you love for that long.

Old Friends

Right after we got back from Mexico one of my best friends Kristen came into town for thanksgiving. Kristen and I haven't seen each other for about 4 years so it was so exciting to see each other again. In 2002 she moved to Spokane,WA with her then boyfriend and now husband. He is enlisted in the military and is leaving to go back over seas in a couple of weeks. After the first of the year they will find out where they will be stationed at next but she did promise that it would be closer to home. Kristen and I went tp high school together and ended up staying in touch ever since. It was amazing to have her back home for a while bc we got to caught up on alot of things. Kristen will most likely be visiting again in the summer.

PUERTO VALLARTA,MEXICO

Patrick and I just recently went with my parents on a company trip to Puerto Vallarta,Mexico. We left on Nov. 15 and got back late on the 19th. The temp. was about 86 degrees every day with no rain. Patrick and I have always wanted to go to puerto vallarta so when my dad called and told us that that's where it was going to be we were so excited and couldn't wait to go. On Thurs our plane left at 5:45 a.m. (which is WAY to early for me) and arrived in Mexico at 2:00 p.m. We stayed at a amazing resort called the Fiesta Americana. After checking in to our hotel we walked around, laid by the pool, and go some drinks. That night we had a welcome dinner that the resort but on for us that was set up by the pool. It was a lrge buffet with alot of great food and an open bar.Friday we had a 6 hour snorkel trip that started at 9:00 a.m. After getting on the boat with about 50 other people we ventured out about 1 hour and 15 mins to a island called Marietas where we got to snorkel and Kayak. While snorkeling we saw alot of beautiful fish and even some octopus. After snorkeling they took us to a nearby beach that was out in the middle of nowhere where we just laided out and swam. Later that day after getting back to the resort we just laided by the beach. Saturday we got us and spend most of our day shopping in a town that was about 15 mins. for the resort. After shopping we once again went back the resort and swam. Sunday was our last day in paradise and I was not ready to come back home.Me and my mom laided by the beach, swam, and drank lots of yummy fruity drinks from about 9-5, and even got a massage by the ocean. While we were doing that Patirck and my dad along with about 6 other guys went on a deep sea fishing trip that lasted 8 hours. They all ended up catched alot of stuff but patrick didnt wake my camera to get any pics. Mon. was that day we had to return home which I had been dreading for the past 5 days. We had such a great time that we didnt didnt want to come home at all.We found out that next years trip will ne in Portland, Oregon but Patrick and I wont be going.
This photo was taken when we were still in the air plane about to arrive in puerto vallarta.

Halloween Costume Contest

Faith came to visit her Aunt Brooke(I dont think that she knew who I was at first until she heard my voice)
My doctor is the one in the cheerleading costume!!(Awful I know but it was priceless)

Yesterday my work held our 3rd annual costume contest. I started working at the office in April so this was the first time I got to dress-up. It was alot of fun and we had a blast. I haven't dressed up for halloween since I was like 10. I placed 2nd place in the costume contest and Dr. Todd placed 1st. We took pics when we got to the office yesterday morning and posted them on the wall and sent out a mass e-mail to our pts so they could vote. The rules were that if Dr. Todd won that each person would bring him lunch (there are 7 other people in the office) and who ever got 2nd place got $500.00 so now I'm $500.00 richer. I was really excited when I won bc I was planning on buying a flat screen t.v. for our bedroom so that when patrick goes to the academy and I'm stuck at home alone I will be able to watch t.v. in our bedroom. When I was a little girl I used to have a Raggedy Ann doll so when I was looking for costumes on the internet I saw this one and thought that it was the perfect costume. After winning this year I have already started thinking of costume ideas for next year so if anyone has any ideas let me know!!!

The Most Beautiful Butterfly

Tonight Patrick and I went to a halloween costume contest that are niece was entered in. Ever year the City of Broken Arrow puts on this halloween event on Main Street. Everyone brings there kids in their coustumes and all the stores open there doors and give out candy and prizes. They also had games for the kids to play, a big slide, a jupiter jump, and lots of kids music. There were so many kids there and so many different halloween costumes. The cutiest costume of course was my nieces. This was here first halloween so she went dressed as a butterfly. My sister-in-law had bought that costume at The Children's Place when we went up to Kansas City for a girls weekend. At first Faith didn't like to have the hat on but she got used to it and didnt seemed bothered by it at all. My sister-in-law entered her in a halloween costume contest that was for ages 2 and younger (shes almost 8 months). There were about 35 kids that were entered. Usually she loves to be the center of attention but tonight she was more intrested in all the other kids. Even though she was the the cutiest one the entered the contest she didnt place. Next year she will be at an age where she can have more fun . Last night my sister-in-law and I were already trying to come up with some ideas for her costume next year. ANY IDEAS????
