The Most Beautiful Butterfly

Tonight Patrick and I went to a halloween costume contest that are niece was entered in. Ever year the City of Broken Arrow puts on this halloween event on Main Street. Everyone brings there kids in their coustumes and all the stores open there doors and give out candy and prizes. They also had games for the kids to play, a big slide, a jupiter jump, and lots of kids music. There were so many kids there and so many different halloween costumes. The cutiest costume of course was my nieces. This was here first halloween so she went dressed as a butterfly. My sister-in-law had bought that costume at The Children's Place when we went up to Kansas City for a girls weekend. At first Faith didn't like to have the hat on but she got used to it and didnt seemed bothered by it at all. My sister-in-law entered her in a halloween costume contest that was for ages 2 and younger (shes almost 8 months). There were about 35 kids that were entered. Usually she loves to be the center of attention but tonight she was more intrested in all the other kids. Even though she was the the cutiest one the entered the contest she didnt place. Next year she will be at an age where she can have more fun . Last night my sister-in-law and I were already trying to come up with some ideas for her costume next year. ANY IDEAS????

Our Friends Wedding

Patrick and I went to our good friends Christy and Kevins wedding this past weekend on the 20th. Patrick and I met Christy and Kevin in high school and have remand friends ever since. I cheered with Christy and Patrick wrestled with Kevin. They got married in Tulsa at a new wedding chapel called Bella Gardens Wedding Chapel. It was the first time that Patrick and I had been there and it was absolutley gorgeous. After the wedding we went to the reception where all the fun began. We hung out with all of our close friends, danced all night, and drank all night(which I don't do much of but I thought what the heck) needless to say I didn't feel well the next morning. The reception ended at about 12:00. We ended up going out afterwards which made it a very long night. We love going to weddings which is a good thing because it seems like thats all we do . We have more weddings to go to in Nov, Dec, and April.

2 Years Down, Forever to Go

Patrick and I were married 2 years yesterday. The two years we have been married have flown by and I cant wait to have many more. Patrick and I met in high school in 2000 and began dating in 2001. After 3 years of dating he finally popped the question on Dec. 23,2004. The day after he proposed we set a date and began planning our dream wedding. We got married at our church St. Patricks Episcopal Chruch in Broken Arrow. The church was filled with beautiful fall flowers, tons of candles, amazing friends, and family. The reception was at the Doubletree Hotel Downtown. After the wedding we had to wait to go on a honeymoon because I was still in school. After finishing up with my classes we left in mid december to Vail, Co. and returned the day before Christmas. Everyday I think about how lucky I am to have such a amazing and honest husband.

My Best Friend

This is my Best Friend Lindsey. I met Lindesy when I was just 5 months old and she was 5 weeks old at the babysitters and have been inseperable every since. Growing up we spent everyday together and traveled with each others a families. We did everything together from cheerleading, getting ready for prom, birthdays, bridal pics and even our weddings. Lindsey got engaged a couple of months after I did and got married 3 weeks before I did. I was her maid of honor and she was my matron of honor. She is the the best friend anyone could ever ask for and I now that our friendship will grow even stronger as we get older.

The Perfect Little Boomer Sooner

This is a pic of my perfect niece Faith on OU game day. My sister-in-law got this outfit as a baby shower gift back on Feb 07. She has been waiting till football season to put her in it. Faith is so prefect and is also a happy smiling baby all the time. Her Aunt Brooke cant help but spoil her to death because I have 2 nephews whom I adore but she is my perfect niece!!!!

Happy Halloween

On the weekend of Sept 29th me, my mom , Lindsey(my Best Friend), and her mom went down to Fin and Feather to the big craft show. I saw this new fall decoration and couldn't resist getting it. I also go a christmas one that is shaped like a gingerbread girl but I'll post that one when it gets closer to christmas.
